I have been wanting to create a sunrise picture, that moment when the light falls over everything you see. I call this, "Before the Din" because not only is it morning, before the noise of the day, but also because I took the liberty of removing all the buildings and adding a gentle path through the wildflowers.
Who wouldn't want to walk this path in the morning, with the smell of the flowers making the experience that much more fun. Meander slowly, carrying your hot beverage, and filling your heart with gratitude for the gift of life and beauty.
Ripped hand-made paper is collaged onto the canvas, and acrylic paint completes the design.
