This hand-sewn piece is a personal project of mine to turn darkness into light. The flowers are made of poopoo paper, which is made of elephant dung.
It took about 65 hours to sew all the lines and flowers into place. It was a meditation for me, working on changing the most difficult parts of life into something beautiful.
I am proud to share the prints of this original piece of art.
